O.k I didnt know anything about flthds cept I wanted needed a rebuild who better than you to do it. I bought three books rebuilding the famous ford flathead by Ron Bishop very good but seemed like it was for stock,#2Ford Flathead v-8 builders Handbook by Frank Oddo liked it tons of info, but the one I really liked was How to build ford flathead v8.

The Land of Painted Caves is more repetitive than most - I found myself skipping bits of the book. Having said that, I don't regret reading it and everything was tied together well to provide a satisfying ending/5(K).

The book covers a Stromberg 97 rebuild, but only touches on the other carburetors used on flatheads. I know people who swear by the 94's but not much in here on them.
